PTSD Veteran needs dental

PTSD Veteran with major teeth problems. For over 20 years I have avoided seeing a dentist due to my PTSD symptoms/anxieties.  I have been in therapy (psychiatrists, psychologists and VA couselling) for many years for agorphobia and numerous major phobias.  With alot of work grocery shopping is possible for me to do.  I am new with computers and came across this sight while browsing the internet for PTSD related information.  I need a dentist asap...I am in pain both my lower and upper teeth have either holes or plaque built up.  In the past year I have lost three teeth and one molar is broken with pointy jagged roots protruding from the gum where the crown of the tooth used to be/I also wear a partial from a cleft palate repair was done on me in 1982 (partial falls down whenever my mouth opens more than about an inch wide.  I am in so much pain from eating or even when a gust of wind touches my teeth.  I have been afraid for many years of people and of being out of my bedroom.  I only get $895 a month from diability and am begging for financial help to pay for a dentist.  I went in and got a consultation and two root canals are needed to save my two front upper teeth; extractions; partial reconstruction to add the missing teeth on it.  If anybody can help...even just a alittle.  Please help

Hi,

My name is Sarah. I came across this page while searching for help with my teeth. I am 23, married and have a 3 year son. I am working but my husband has been layed off.. I have always had problems with my teeth and nothing I do seems to help. I cant even remember a day where I havent felt my teeth. I have spent more nights crying cause of the pain than I can count. I have never liked smiling cause i was ashamed. Rencently while at work, I bit into a bagle and broke my front tooth off. I cant even explain how much this has devested me. I know its just a tooth but I can hardly talk to someone now with out wanting to cry cause i know they are staring at my mouth. I even have a hard time around my husband. I dont feel attractive anymore.. I'm sure many people have been threw this and I dont want to sound like a cry baby. I have many things to be greatful for. I just want to be able to smile with out being self conscious.

I live in maine and I havent been able to find a dentist I can afford.. If anyone has any advice please let me know..

Thank you,

Sarah

FrustratedInPain

Hi Everyone.  I am having a lot of problems with my teeth.  I am 37 and have spent so much money on my teeth in the past and again having problem after problem with them again.  They have told me on several different occasions that I need dental implants but 1 tooth alone cost at least $3000.00.  Well Imagine needing my whole mouth and I'm only 37.  I have been in pain and have tried to take it a little at a time but now I just have no money no more on my credit cards or insurance.  I am already $29,000.00 in credit card debt.  I can't work right now.  I stay home with my daughters.  I had a car accident back in April.  I have a herniated disk at C4/C5 in my neck and have had lots of problems with just that alone and now this is one of many problems.  I can't eat well.  I feel like everything is just caving down on me.

I need help paying for at least my teeth or if you're a dentist or have a dentist in San Antonio, TX that is willing to do it for free, PLEASE HELP ME!

Need dental work in NC

I am a 39 year old, father of nine. We have five children in our home now. Since August 1999, I have suffered from a severe back injury. Also, I have suffered from diabetes since 2003 (best estimate from my doctor) which was not treated until June 2007. As a result of all this, I have not been able to work. However, since my sugar has gotten regulated to normal, I am feel so much better. So much so, that I am feeling like I can re-enter the workforce. I have about a year to go before I finish a degree in English and Literature from Mountain State University.

What I need is all my upper teeth pulled and dentures. I have no dental insurance to help pay for this. I also need it done to help me get employed. They simply look too bad.... if someone has any advice or could help, I would greatly appreciate it!
